Head shaving has long been considered an act of rebellion in Korea. Unless you’re joining the military, shaved heads used to represent rebellious kids, extreme protesters, or some religious people. However, with more people wanting to look different from others, the shaved hairstyle has increasingly become a fashion statement in the country—and it’s no different in the Korean pop culture industry.
In fact, it’s no longer an anomaly to spot Korean celebrities with extremely short hair cuts, as seen from G-Dragon yesterday at the Pentaport Rock Festival.
