
Tim’s new album “New Beginnings,” highly demanding in overseas. .
Sony Music Korea explained that neighboring Asian countries such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Thailand and China, are inquiring into distribution rights for Tim’s fifth full-length album released in Korea on November 25. The countries in Asia have only received basic information on Tim’s latest release, including the jacket of the record and its title track. Malaysia in particular has requested that it acquire the rights to be the first country in Asia, outside Korea, to be able to release the album.
“New Beginnings” features 11 tracks, including the title track translated into “Unmanly Words” composed by famous Korean pianist and composer Yiruma. Other musicians including singer Lyn and composers 2Face and Lee Yoon-jae also took part in creating the album produced by Tim.
Tim, whose real name is Hwang Young-min, debuted with the album “I Love You” in 2003 and has since released five albums, four singles and the soundtrack to MBC TV series “Queen of Reversal (2010).”
He has several hit songs under his belt including “I Wanted to Say Thank You,” “As Much As I Loved,” and “From The End Of The World” among others.
